What do you do when you need a dose of inspiration? I’m always look to my favorite blogs for early morning pick-me-ups, creative ideas, and sparks of inspiration. There are so many great blogs out there, but this is a list of my go-to favorites. If you need some proof that the world is a beautiful place, these blogs never fail to lift my spirits and introduce us to new ideas.
1. Design Love Fest
Based in Los Angeles, Bri Emery is a talented art director with an amazing eye for design. Her blog includes design ideas, DIY, tips, and my favorite: free backgrounds. Bri also hosts blogging and social media workshops, which look absolutely funl and informative. It is just a matter of time before I join in on one!
2. BLEUBIRD BLOG
I fine Jame’s blog truly inspiring. I love that she is able to show off both her love for her children and her impeccable eye for design in the same place. Her recipes look delicious too. I love her original first-hand tutorials. She also has great ideas homeschooling children for those of you who home school.
3. REFINERY 29
It you could pick only one blog- this is the one Refinery29. This is a lifestyle blog at its finest. Huge, full of articles ranging from DIY to Politics to Fashion. The website is broken down into six sections, with an additional section that offers content geared toward specific, metropolitan cities including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
4. A Beautiful Mess
Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman are the queens of DIY . These sisters are among my favorite bloggers because of their creativity. You really don’t have to break the bank to have style. Emma creates yummy original recipes, Elsie has dreamy DIYs, and they are also have amazing style.
5. The EveryGirl
I love this site! It inspires creativity from the big to the little things. I love their manifesto. I think you will too:

6. Pink Peonies
Rachel Parsons started out with a small personal blog, but that blog has grown and she his now a fashion icon. Her blog showcases her personal style, beauty tips, recipes, and more.
7. Zen Habits
Leo Babauta has a popular blogs on productivity and lifestyle. Sometimes life can get filled with “noise” and “stuff”. Leo reminds his readers that happiness is a choice and focusing on what is really important, so everything else will keep in balance.
8. The Minimalists
Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus write about living a meaningful life with less stuff. And what they have to say is meaningful- ask the over two million people who read their blog. This is the perfect compliment to the Zen Habits blog and a great way to keep things in perspective.
9. Tim Ferris
Tim Ferris took productivity and lifestyle hacking to another level with his ideas . Yeah, you might ask yourself is this the 4-Hour Work Week and The 4-Hour Body guy? Yes, yes it is and the blog. His ideas are eye opening and his interviews with entrepreneurs are fascinating. This blog gives you the motivation to push yourself to be the best you can be.
10. Mayi Carles
This is one of the cutest blogs with its hand drawn accents. Her About Me page is one of my favorites. Don’t let the whimsy fool you, this blog is full of great and practical ideas.
11. Cupcakes and Cashmere
Everything about Emily Schuman is inspiration- food, design, style. She has a lot of great ideas and she also makes great food so check out her recipes!
12. The Happiness Project
Ever thought about working on being happy? Ever need a little extra boost? If you don’t know where to start, Gretchen’s blog is what you need to put things in daily perspective.
13. Coco+ Kelly
This the wonderful lifestyle blog that is absolutely inspiring when it comes to home design. Cassandra’s blog just sets my mind afire with home design inspiration.
14. Design Sponge
This blog inspires me to actually do things. I love the before and after section, getting the chance to see what people can do when they are inspired. I say, if they can do it, so can I!
15. Soule Mama
Amanda Soule is inspirational. She is a mother, wife, and crafter extraordinaire. She is truly an expert on having a creative and loving family. I love blogs that show off the writer’s true personality and how they add beauty to their everyday life.
16. Liberty London Girl
Liberty London Girl is a power blogger when it comes to fashion. You only need one blog when it comes to fashion- this one.
17. Breanna Rose
This is the other Bre- spelled B-R-E. Her blog has a minimalist, clean look. It is creative and simple.
Who What Wear promises a daily dose of up-to-date trend reports and styling tips inspired by women in fashion. Now you might not want to run out and grab every outfit you see, but I guarantee there will be some that will make you want to find an occasion just so you can wear what she wore.

20. A Cup of Jo
A Cup of Jo is a women’s lifestyle blog that covers fashion, beauty, design, food and motherhood.
